Our journey began with a realization and a sense of responsibility. We identified a critical gap in the commercial meat-based dog food industry - a need for products that not only support the health of our dogs but also contribute to a more sustainable world by saving other animals from the food chain. It was time for a change, a step towards a future where well-being of dogs aligns with the well-being of other animals & our planet. Thus, FURRMATE was born!
Our path led us to develop nutritious plant-based (vegan) dog food & treats, incorporating premium & cruelty-free ingredients, with vet-approved formulations that promise both health and safety for our furry friends.

Our Story
When our founders, Paras & Mahasweta, were living in London, they were excited to welcome a furry friend to their family. However, their excitement turned to concern when they discovered that the commercial meat-based dog food available in the market was not only harmful to the dogs it was meant to nourish but also to the planet. They also heard stories from other dog parents about their pets suffering from itchy skin, tummy problems, allergies and chronic diseases due to poor-quality meat by-products being used in commercial dog food.
Determined to make a difference, they decided to move to India and started working with veterinarians & pet nutritionists to develop a line of dog food products that are science-backed, healthy, sustainable, and nutritionally complete.
FURRMATE was born out of this vision - a choice that’s not only better for our dogs’ health but also better for our planet and all the other animals that call it home.
